Originally written by Je Bonus in the spring of 2022, Vaticide’s first recording was an acoustic duet with Brian Montanaro that attempted to encapsulate both sides of the nostalgia that comes with a past relationship.

However, new perspective to the lyrics were unearthed after the passing of Je’s uncle ‘Arthur John Comeau’ in the Fall of 2023 & the song would become the focal point of an entire album.

Fast forward to early 2024 : Je  brings the record to The Bridge Sound & Stage, where Mertz  offered his hands in elevating the production to match the projects triumphant journey through the five stages of grief.
